My Mafia birthday celebration was supposed to be a surprise, but I knew it was going to be on Friday and found their futile attempts to hide it from me laughable. Haha, however I was so wrong!

After cheating me to go bathe, my brother and Dear conspired with the rest of the Mafia gang and let them into my home and waited outside at my living room while I was dolling myself up. LOL

And when I opened my door and came out, I was shocked! Everyone was camping outside my corridor la! Don’t believe you can see the youtube video below. OMG, can’t believe my name will generate a search result in youtube now. Hahaha.

Part of the reason of me being shocked was because they were all wearing a T-shirt that says “I’M WITH JIATAO” and gave me one that says “I AM JIATAO”. HAHAHA, and yes, we are supposed to all wear this T-Shirt out to Orchard Road later.

When we reached Vila’ge at 8pm, boss was already stoning inside. We almost had to clear away all the dust that was collecting on her. Hahaha, sorry lao da. And because she was the only one that haven’t wrote in the card for me yet, THEY GAVE IT TO HER TO WRITE IN FRONT OF ME. Hahaha, bth. After dinner, we paraded from The Heeren shops to our favourite hang out cafe, Coffeebean at Paragon for a drink and talk nonsense session like we always do. I totally understood how celebrities feel when they are out in the public, because everywhere we went yesterday night, I heard people calling out my name. Hahahaha, a lot of them were wondering who is this “JiaTao” after seeing the rest in their T-shirts and exclaimed out loud when they saw me in mine. I was at the center of attraction last night where ever we went. Thanks to Raymond with his stupid idea. HAHAHA

Although it feels weird that I’m totally not involved in the planning of this celebration because CB and I have always been working together in such events. HAHAHA. when Mr Tan Chee Boon asked me to buy a Razer mouse for him at the IT show, I told him it’s ridiculous to spend more than $100 on a mouse alone.

Now one year later, at the same IT show, I bought a mouse that is more expensive. And I bet he must be laughing at me deep inside. LOL.

So now everybody! I PRESENT TO YOU THE ULTIMATE IN GAMING, THE UNFAIR ADVANTAGE, THE GAMING MOUSE EVERY GAMER GOT TO OWN!

“Nah, for you to eat while mugging” was what my brother said as he passed me a plastic bag containing Peanut M&Ms, Mentos Cool Chews and 大白兔奶糖, all my favourite candies.

I was at a loss for words at that moment. I wanted to say “Thanks, I’m really touched!” but CANNOT, because it will sound damn gay! LOL, so I decided to come online and express my appreciation here.

On another note when I sent Dear this picture telling her about my intention to blog about this incident, she sent me something back.

How can we allow a Mafia family member to spend his birthday as simply as hanging around in Mos Burger in Ang Mo Kio talking nonsense?

We were only waiting to execute our master plan on the 16th of Nov when Boss is on off. Because the birthday man (no more birthday boy liao, you think you still young?) already knew of the celebration, I just went through the notion of telling him it’s actually a celebration for Dunlin’s ROM, even in her absence! HAHAHA

And so we started with the steamboat.

Although our birthday man tried his best to act blur, boss chut one stunt and everyone was at a loss for words. Apparently she was on her way to hide the birthday present when she bumped into Chee Boon with the present in her hands behind her back between her legs. HAHAHA, the expression on her face at that moment was PRICELESS! HAHAHA, and so with the cat out of the bag, I went to take out the “cake” from the fridge.

As with any other birthday celebration, the birthday man must take photos with everyone.

It was nice chit-chatting about the past, the present and the future though. It’s always so enjoyable when the family gathers. Let’s start planning for the Mafia Family’s Annual Christmas Pot-luck!

Went to watch Flushed Away just now and it was absolutely hilarious! Set us laughing and laughing non-stop!

It was very worth it because we paid just $6.50 for two tickets! Cathay had a promotion and Dear’s friend, Yili gave us one of her two promotion voucher! SO CHEAP! Cathay rocks! When “Green Villa” (cannot mention real name, if not will kena sue) keep increasing their prices, Cathay keep having cheap promotions! Good for us poor students! LOL

The movie was rather short though, only slightly more than an hour. But the amount of laughter generated somehow made up for it. Haha. If you are thinking of relieving some stress, this is the movie to go to! I shall not spoil the movie for you, because YOU KNOW YOU WANNA WATCH IT! Haha, see you at Cathay!

Whoa! Been long since I last posted! Projects projects and more projects! So many deadlines to meet, probably because I have been slacking in the first half of the semester. Now I’m feeling the pain, ouch.

Anyway, this post shall be backdated to October 21st Deepavali Day! Our family went to the National Shooting Centre in celebration for my Mum’s birthday and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly despite the hot afternoon sun.

Because it’s like the once in a lifetime experience, we all took individual photos trying to look cool! HAHA!

When the bill came, it was $44 per person. Not cheap lor, lucky it’s just a one time thing. All in all, it was a very good experience. Although it’s not my first time firing live rounds, it was the first time moving targets were involved, and to see the clay targets shattering into pieces is really quite a boost to the ego leh! HAHAHA

JiaTao is fat, so applying the rule above, he needs a big cup to match – a huge one at that. LOL.

I’ve been looking around for a big big cup so that I don’t have to keep refilling my cup. So my dearest yanwen went to mini-toons to buy me this cup while I was queueing up outside Thai Express despite her having a painful eye.

Thanks Dear for the pleasant surprise, I love the cup very much! Now Fatty JiaTao can finally have his equally fat and round cup!

More than two years ago I lost something and pink immediately became my favourite colour. Today I found the thing I lost after searching for so long. I was at a loss for words when I first saw it on the table once again, and that was when I realised I have been through the entire journey where boys becomes men.

And today 7 August 2006 is the day when CPL Hu JiaTao becomes CPL(NS) Hu JiaTao. ORD LOH!
