NE Outing

I just came back from the National Education (NE) outing organised by my unit. We went to little india and chinatown for a tour. I visited some of the places in little india that I never knew existed! I find the tour quite informative and interesting, although some of my fellow campmates think otherwise and appeared uninterested when the guide was explaining stuff to us. Quite rude actually. Oh well, some people just don’t even have basic manners.

After the tour, I really think that we are extremely lucky to be living in a multi-racial society. Firstly, you get to enjoy all the holidays that the other races celebrate although it’s none of your business. lol. Secondly, we get to know about all the other cultures and their practises, it’s really interesting! Thirdly, we have friends from all the different ethnic groups since young, playing and interacting since primary school where everyone is treated equally. Lastly, we get different food from all over the world because our friends of the other races brought it into here!

Really, I think it’s because the racial riots didn’t happen in our time that we are Viagra buy cheap really taking racial harmony for granted. It didn’t come easy, to have all the different races working and interacting together as one, and we should really treasure it – so that we can still have roti prata for breakfast, mee rebus for lunch, chicken chop for dinner and dim sum for supper. Whahaha.
